Zoraya Cuervo
Fine Artist, Mural Painter, Illustrator and Creative Artist.
Plastic Artist of Colombian origin, born in Bogota, living in Mexico for more than 10 years. Her training as an artist is both professional and empirical; she has developed her work exploring different styles ranging from figurative art to abstract art, using techniques such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, ink and any element that allows her to express the beauty and quality of color on substrates such as canvas, paper, cardboard and walls.
She teaches art workshops that generate a spirit of empowerment and avoid violence. She focuses on showing that art saves us from ignorance. She emphasizes the rescue of self-esteem through body paint.
He has done an important part of his work in mural painting, especially in Colombia and in the states of Quintana Roo and Baja California Sur in Mexico, often working altruistically, collaborating with low-income communities, in towns and schools to promote culture and beautify the urban environment, emphasizing the expression of art as an educational form, which promotes respect for the environment and the strengthening of culture; creating and educating.
